"A perfect way to end a perfect day - discover the delights of evening cruising with Ocean Spirit Cruises. Enjoy dinner on our luxurious catamaran while cruising on the calm waters of Trinity Inlet. With a glass of champagne in hand, stroll the decks and savour the sights of the city by night.
Enjoy our award winning sumptuous 4 course hot & cold buffet (including seafood) featuring some of the region's best produce - mouth watering prawns, oysters, reef fish & exotic platters of fruit - all freshly prepared on board by our chefs.
As the moon rises, the gentle strumming of the guitar commences. Savour the moment . . . . . . . "
After a whole day walk in a summer humid day
Dinner on a cruise was perfect to end the day.
Comfortable, relax and very romantic all at the same time.
The food was not bad at all and it was the best time to talk about our first day in Cairns
and planned for the next.
On board, the crew member handed to me a glass of champagne to start the night.
Buffet started at around 7:30pm and there were about 50 people all together.
Two types of soups were available: pumpkin and chicken corn soups.
Various salad and vegetable to choose from.
For seafood, there were fresh oysters, prawn cocktail and green lip mussels.
Baked vegetables, chicken, beef and ham for the main.
And there were steam fish as well.
For deserts, there were types of cakes and tropical fruits.
Not something fancy.
Overall, it was a pleasant night.
It's a bit pricey, if you would like to enjoy a good dinner,
there are plenty of restaurants to choose from on the Pier.
Cairns is a modern and vibrant city and an ideal base to explore the many attractions
Tropical North Queensland has to offer.
There were so many things we've planned to do and so many places we've planned to visit.
